While staying at a charming local caravan park just a short 15-minute drive away, my daughters were keen on indulging in a classic chip shop dinner—sausage and chips. After a quick search online, we discovered this gem and decided to take a leisurely drive through the picturesque countryside on a glorious summer afternoon to find it.
The experience exceeded our expectations! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, going above and beyond with their politeness and even gifting the girls a sweet little lollipop, which absolutely made their day.
As for the food, it was a treat for all. I opted for a cheeky doner kebab ( which hit the spot) , while the girls relished their sausage and chips. Both dishes were delightful, earning impressive scores of 9.8 and 9.9 out of 10 from my daughters —safe to say they were thoroughly pleased!
This place has become a must-visit on our next camping trip, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking fantastic food with a side of friendly service.- Service

Best fish and chips I have ever had!! The portion size is so good!! So tasty top quality I won’t have fish and chips elsewhere now! The Main guy and the lovely lady are so polite and excellent service. Thanks guys!

At last, a top notch fish & chips! We've been in the village for just over 2 years and tried everywhere within a few miles, with mixed results..and a couple were awful. This is the best battered fish I've eaten in years, and as good as the best in Bedford, the award winning Golden Chicken.

I stopped having fish and chips years ago due to them being soggy but Ive had cod and chips last week and this I went for haddock and chips both were crispy and perfect, many thanks

Absolutely amazing food...deffo recommend....once you try u will 100% go back for more.!! Burgers are amazing restaurant quality.....soooo tasty....!! Great staff too....cant beat them...!!!!

101When is Spartans feast van in Meppershall?
